Make Course Announcements

Students will get a notification from your announcement through email.

Steps

Open the "Announcements" forum. It should be listed at the top of your main course page in Moodle.
Click Add discussion topic.

Add a "Subject" and a "Message" for your new announcement.

Below the message, you can optionally:

Add an attachment
Pin this discussion to the top of the forum
Opt out of the 1-minute grace period in which you can edit the post before notifications are sent

If you post an announcement for a restricted Group section, please check for the Group selection. Kindly ensure that you select your targeted section.

Click Post to forum when you are ready.
