The Timeline provides an overview of deadlines and is displayed by default on the Dashboard.

How to make activities display in the Timeline?

For Activities

Set a deadline for the activities

For teachers to see assignments which need grading, a 'Remind me to grade by' date must be entered in the assignment set up screen.

Note 1: the dashboard will only display a maximum of 2 weeks in the past for ‘Overdue’ or ‘Remind me to grade by’ activities

Note 2: students will not see activities on the dashboard unless they currently have access to view them in the course (i.e. If an assignment is restricted to the view of a lesson, the assignment will not appear on the dashboard until the lesson has been viewed).
