Share Recording videos in Moodle (Embedded Video)

Videos from MS SharePoint can be shared by embedded code in the text editor.

Teams recordings will be stored on personal OneDrive/SharePoint. Please move your OneDrive/SharePoint recordings to your Faculty SharePoint (ie: Moodle-FCM folder) before share in Moodle.

The structure of the SharePoint folder should be like this:

[Faculty Sharepoint] > [Term ID] > [CourseCode-CourseName] for example Moodle-FCM > 2220 > DCL5263-CREATIVE LEADERSHIP

Embed the video in a Text and Media resource

Move the file, from your Recordings folder into Faculty SharePoint

To share the recording file in Moodle, go to your Faculty SharePoint. In this page, click Share then, choose Embed Code. Click Copy embed code to copy the video's link.

In Moodle, choose your Course, turn on 'Edit mode'. Click 'Add an activity or resource' under the desired section/topic. Choose Text and media area . In editor, choose HTML to embed the code of the video.
