Import Grades

Lecturers may need this features to upload coursework marks in bulk. Grades or marks may be imported as a CSV or XML file, or by pasting from a spreadsheet.

Import Grades

Steps

Select Grades from contextual navigation menu.

Open the drop-down menu on the left of the page, select Import.

Choose Import as Paste from spreadsheet. By default the CSV file is selected.

Download and edit the relevant students and graded information by using the Grade export feature. Copy the data from your Excel sheet and paste to the Data field. Click Upload grades to proceed.

In the preview, ensure the data is correct.

Match up the identifier you used for the students; if you used 'email address', ensure it maps to 'email address' in Identify user by.

Do the same for Graded item mapping. Ensure you map with the correct Coursework/Grade Item. Click Upload grades to import the grades.

Click Continue, the page will navigate to Grader report page.
