About Gradebook<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Each Moodle module has its own gradebook which displays all enrolled students, assessed activities, grades and feedback. From the Gradebook you can\u00a0view and change the grade items\u00a0as well as organise them\u00a0into categories and calculate totals in a variety of ways.<\/p>

When you create an assessed activity\u00a0in a Moodle module,\u00a0a grade\u00a0item is automatically created in the\u00a0Gradebook to collect and display the allocated grades. You can also add manual grade items to display grades for assessments that take place outside of Moodle.<\/p>

In the Gradebook you can:<\/p>

  • view and edit marks for graded activities<\/li>
  • add weightings or other aggregation methods to grades and calculate category and course totals<\/li>
  • manage the display of grade items<\/li>
  • import or manually enter grades\/feedback for graded items<\/li>
  • export grades into an excel spreadsheet<\/li>
  • see how students can access both their grades and feedback for all assignments in a module using the Grades and feedback report.<\/li><\/ul>
